Kumba, popularly referred to as K-Town has many markets. But the most renowned   ones are the Kumba Main market situated in the heart of the Kumba 1 Municipality, and the Fiango Market, in the Kumba 2 area.

Taking a walk to the Fiango market Sunday morning, it was discovered that there are a variety of items sold in market. Ranging from household materials to food stuffs and fruits, there is a rapid influx of people who come to the market as early as 6: oo am to buy food stuffs both for their households and for sales

CUSTOMERS MAKING THEIR CHOICES

Vegetables and fruits can be found in greater quantities since they are very nourishing and good for the health of all. Variety they say is the spice of life, reason why various fruits and vegetables such as Tomatoes, Carrots, Greenbeans, Pepper, Pears Oranges Pineapples, Pawpaw, Cabbages can be found in the market at affordable prices. Prices vary from 100FRS to 600FRS, depending on the size and quantity of what you want to buy.

NUMEROUS ITEMS ON SALE

PAW PAW AND PINEAPPLES ARE ALSO NEEDED FOR A HEALTHY GROWTH.

It is interesting to know thatthese fruits are bought from surrounding villages around Kumba such as Kake, ikiliwindi, Barombi Kang at much reduced rates and sold to the inhabitants of Kumba.Other food items such as cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, green beans, irish potatoes come in town from Bamenda.
