There has been resounding extortion for students of Cameroon College of Arts and Science CCAS Kumba to be good ambassadors of that institution and to exemplify honesty and other godly traits.

This appeal was made by the principal of CCAS Mwelle Kunz Mbai on the occasion of the second edition of prize award cultural ceremony of that institution that took place on Wednesday 23rd May 2012. Created some 39 years ago, kumba day and night notes that the school currently has a student population of over 3000. In his address, the principal of the institution noted that the prize award and cultural ceremony was  birthed not only to reward academic excellence among students but also to take stock of the running of the school in the previous years and to chart a better plan in the next coming year.

Toward the end of the occasion, the principal called on students not only to be goodwill ambassadors of that institution, but to live responsible in order to avoid being contaminated with the dreaded HIV/AIDS Pandemic. The Second Divisional Officer for Meme, Yonkuma Nelson in his address pointed out that the prize award and cultural ceremony was instituted to celebrate hard work and excellence adding that there can be no success without hard work. Prizes ranging from undisclosed sum of money, computers, laptops, books, machetes, amongst others were handed to some students in all the classes who excelled not only in academics but in other 122domains like cleanliness, punctuation, manual labour, and culture.

These prizes were donated by book publishers, insurance companies, corporation and individuals, also attending the ceremony were the delegate of Secondary Education for Meme, Epie Ekalle and the pioneer principal of that institution, Sona Elonge.
