Meme I A Section of the CPDM Party held a meeting

Militants of  Meme I A section of the CPDM party with headquarters in Njuki, Kumba I sub division have set up a commission to confront the General Manager (GM) of the National Water Corporation (SNEC) concerning the Kumba water crisis. The decision to set up a commission of CPDM militants to meet the GM, was taken on the occasion of the enlarged meeting at the CPDM party hall on Monday 22 October 2012.

Also, on the agenda of the meeting for the decision was the  biometric registration, the new electoral code and the preparation for the 2012 6th November celebration . The National President of YCPDM, Mbonda Stephen was present at the meeting.Given the honour to speak, he pointed out that CPDM militants have enormous powers and that they have failed to practise their powers adding that ,these powers could attract not only development, but finances. He further announced that the CPDM would soon create an academy, whose main objectives would be to groom militants on the importance of doing politics and not only to vote.

On his part,the Section President of Meme I A, Prince Ekalle Mukete, during the meeting elaborated more on the biometric registration , the new electoral code and  his personal intervention in the Kumba water crisis and the upcoming celebration of the 30th anniversary of president Paul Biya’s accession to power as president of Cameroon.

Kinge John,YCPDM section president Meme 1 A delivers a speech

Earlier on,the  YCPDM Section president of the Meme I A  , Kinge John, appealed to the militants of this section  to ensure that the 2012 edition of 6th November be celebrated with a different touch. He also advised them to obtain CPDM party Cards or else they would not be allowed to vote during their party’s reorganization exercise

Before the meeting ended, a committee of eight persons was appointed to draft a letter to the General Manager  of SNEC on the current Kumba water problem in order to get a solution to  the problem that has been disturbing for close to three months now.

    I think now is the best time to deal with the water problem in Kumba once and for all. It is really as disturbing one as people have to go for days without portable drinking water. Good one there Relindis keep up the good work.
