CDSTS and REDSTS had a twin matriculation day

Community Development Specialization Training School, CDSTS and the Rural Equipment and Development Specialisation Training School, REDSTS Kumba had a twin matriculation day on December 5th 2012. During the solemn occasion which took place at the school campus, the director of REDSTS, Mr. Kema George who delivered a welcome speech on behalf of both schools said the need to have agricultural advisers, rural infrastructure, equipment and water management technicians made it that the eighteen colleges of Cameroon’s Ministry of agriculture and rural development have a new curriculum in these different fields.

The schools can only realise their dreams  with the help of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Develpment known in its french accronym as MINADER and the French cooperation in the AFOP programme. Mr. Kema added that the students’ choice to study in CDSTS and REDSTS among other choices can only come true if they are devoted, have a good sense of judgment, are hard working, motivated, optimistic, resistant, responsible etc

These new freshmen and women have a two year diploma program after which they will obtain a higher national diploma in their different fields of specialty. Also present at the matriculation ceremony was the  Divisional Delegate of Agriculture and rural development Meme, Mr. Fomo Jacob and some head of services, chiefs’ and many others.
