the roads are virtually empty with Police and gendarmes in action

The mission is actually to check vehicles and motorbike documents in the urban area in the country. The faults include absence of a driving licence, overloading, registration number, technical state of the vehicle, and use of telephone while driving, insurance, CEMAC number plates and windscreen licence, among others. The Secretary of State for Transport calls on all road users to regularize their situations as defaulters will be sanctioned according to the law in force. It is said that this exercise will continue for one month except weekend

no car or bike on the road

some do bear the risk to work without having all their documents

In Kumba, it is being noticed that roads are actually empty during the day, this make people to ask the question on how these drivers and riders were driving freely  without their documents at hand. Consequently this has  cause difficulties in the movement of people.
